Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Ibrahim Timilehin Balogun, Tiimmy began his musical journey at the age of 15, crafting beats and exploring soundscapes from a small corner in the lively suburbs of Lagos. What started as a love for music production quickly evolved into a full-blown passion for singing, songwriting, and performance—ushering him into a world where rhythm, culture, and expression collide.
Tiimmy made his debut with the single “Big Boy”. He followed it up with the acclaimed “African Woman,” a heartfelt tribute to the strength, beauty, and divinity of African women. A song drenched in rich Afrofusion tones, “African Woman” remains a fan favorite, marrying lyricism with emotional depth.
Fast forward to today, Tiimmy is riding the wave of a renewed musical vision. With the Nigerian music scene pushing global boundaries and redefining pop culture, Tiimmy continues to rise with the tide, fusing heartfelt storytelling with bold Afrobeats energy.
At the tail end of 2025, he dropped the infectious single “Sweet Cookies,” a sultry groove that quickly became serenaders’ favorite and saw its visuals light up YouTube. He followed up with “Trabaye” and “Journey” — two distinct records that showcase his range and growth as an artist. Both singles are now available across all major digital platforms, and the music videos for “Sweet Cookies” and “Trabaye” are already garnering buzz on airwaves.
With each release, Tiimmy carves a space for himself in the ever-rising wave of Nigeria’s next-generation stars. His sound continues to evolve—rooted in the richness of Afrobeats but open to global textures and innovation.
